By: The Royal Institution
Via YouTube | October 11, 2017

Video recommended by Mick Lorusso from the US/Italy, collaborator of Arttextum’s Replicación

We know a fair amount about depression, fear, disgust and anxiety, but positive emotions have so far remained mysterious.
Vin Walsh and a panel of experts discuss the psychology and the neuroscience of happiness.
Vin Walsh is a Professor of Human Brain Research at the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience, UCL.
Julia Christensen is a Newton International Postdoctoral Research Fellow at City University, specialising in the neural underpinnings of emotional expertise.
Morten Kringelbach is a professor of neuroscience at the universities of Oxford and Aarhus, Denmark. His research uses pleasures such as food, sex, drugs and music to understand pleasure and well-being in the human brain.
Joe Gladstone is an Assistant Professor at University College London. Named one of the top 30 people under 30 in Finance by Forbes Magazine, Joe’s research draws from both Behavioural Economics and Consumer Psychology to understand how we can help people to improve their financial decisions

You will never wake up late after watching this

By: Get Better Together
Via YouTube | November 13, 2016

Waking up early in winters seems like an impossible task for most of us and despite knowing that it is crucial for us to wake up early, which is a time very important to be utilized for many important things such as exercise, day planning or simply for active & healthy lifestyle however we still fail to get out of bed early.
arttextum-replicacion-together.png
Waking up early not only has health benefits but it gives you an edge over your competitors, while they are sleeping you are doing something to get better. All successful people who have become the eyes of the world are early risers. I have also been victim of not being able to wake up in the morning especially in winters, but I got really fed up of waking up late and literally hated the feeling of over-sleeping. Then I decided to research and cultivated the habit of waking up early. In this video I have shared the steps that have worked wonders for me and now I don’t even need an alarm clock to wake up early, which is why I am sharing these steps with all of you on this great platform called “you tube”. My purpose is to spread the message to everyone out there and even if one person found it relevant and benefited from it then that is going to be fulfilling for me. If you like this video then please subscribe to my channel and share the video to your friends and family.

Video recommended by Mick Lorusso from the US/Italy, collaborator of Arttextum’s Replicación

A Simpler Way: Crisis as Opportunity is a free feature-length documentary that follows a community in Australia who came together to explore and demonstrate a simpler way to live in response to global crises.
arttextum-replicacion-crisis-as-opportunity.png
Throughout the year the group build tiny houses, plant veggie gardens, practice simple living, and discover the challenges of living in community. This film is the product of hours and hours of footage that I shot during that year-long experiment in simple living. The documentary includes interviews with David Holmgren, Helena Norberg-Hodge, Nicole Foss, Ted Trainer, Graham Turner, and more.

What if Everyone Lived in Just One City?

By: RealLifeLore
Via YouTube | September 23, 2016

What if everybody in the world, all 7.4 billion of us all lived together in the same city? How big or small would this city have to be and how close together or far apart would we all be living from each other?
arttextum-replicacion-city.png
This video explores those concepts and visualizes what a massive global city would look like were it to ever exist in the real world.

The Biggest Organism on Earth

By: MinuteEarth
Via YouTube | September 17, 2013

One aspen tree is actually only a small part of a larger organism. A stand or group of aspen trees is considered a singular organism with the main life force underground in the extensive root system. Before a single aspen trunk appears above the surface, the root system may lie dormant for many years until the conditions are just right, including sufficient sunlight. In a single stand, each tree is a genetic replicate of the other, hence the name a “clone” of aspens used to describe a stand.
arttextum-replicacion
Aspens grow all the time—even in winter. Beneath the thin, white outer bark layer is a thin green photosynthetic layer that allows the tree to create sugars and grow when other deciduous trees would otherwise be dormant. During hard winters, the green, sugary layer provides necessary nutrients for deer and elk. Throughout the year, young aspens provide food or a variety of animals including moose, black bear, beaver, porcupine, ruffed grouse and rodents.

How Laughing at Yourself Can Change the World

By: TEDx Talks
Via YouTube | December 2, 2015

President Obama’s appearance on “Between Two Ferns” made tens of millions of people laugh (and saved lives in the process). In a culture flooded with too much partisan information, comedy is the last great refuge of truth and access.
Brad Jenkins is the Managing Director and Executive Producer of Funny Or Die DC. For the last four years, Jenkins served as President Obama’s liaison and director of engagement to the creative and advocacy communities, bringing together creative executives, advocacy leaders, and some of the world’s biggest stars to advance the President’s agenda — including his Emmy-award winning “Between Two Ferns”

Lucha de gigantes
Convierte,
El aire en gas natural
Un duelo salvaje
Advierte,
Lo cerca que ando de entrar
En un mundo descomunal
Siento mi fragilidad.Vaya pesadilla
Corriendo,
Con una bestia detras
Dime que es mentira todo,
Un sueño tonto y no más
Me da miedo la inmesidad
Donde nadie oye mi voz.Deja de engañar
No quieras ocultar
No quieras ocultar

Autores: Eric Frederic / Liliana Margarita Saumet Avila / Federico Simon Mejia Ochoa / Joe Spargur
Vía YouTube

Soy yo
Bomba Estéreo
Me caí, me paré, caminé, me subí
Y no te preocupes si no te aprueban
Cuando te critiquen, tú solo di
Soy yo
Soy yo
Soy yo (soy, soy, soy, soy, soy, soy, soy)
Soy yo (yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo)
Sigo caminando y sigo riendo
Y no te preocupes si no te aprueban
Cuando te critiquen, tú solo di
Soy yo
Soy yo
Soy yo (soy, soy, soy, soy, soy, soy, soy)
Soy yo (yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo)
Soy así, soy así, soy así (Relaja)
Y tú ni me conoces a mí (Bien relaja)
Soy así, soy así, soy así (Relaja)
Y tú ni me conoces a mí (Bien relaja)
You know what I mean? You know what I mean?
Sí, papá
Y no te preocupes si no te aprueban
Cuando te critiquen, tú solo di
Soy yo
Soy yo
Soy yo (soy, soy, soy, soy, soy, soy, soy)
Soy yo (yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo)
En la cama
Relajá
Con mi encanto
Con pijama, soy yo
Así soy yo.

Beret – Ojalá

Beret -Ojalá

Autor: Beret

Yo necesito ganas no querer ganar,
y si algún día perdiese mi miedo a perder
Me mudado a problemas y he querido ser feliz ahí

Michael Franti & Spearhead – Good to Be Alive Today.

Michael Franti & Spearhead – Good to Be Alive Today

It’s a long road, oh
Everyday I wake up and turn my phone on
I read the news of the day, just as it’s coming down
I do my best not to let it get me down
I try to keep my head up, but is Babylon
This world’s in crisis, we try to fight it, this changing climate
With scientists and politicians divided by it
So many ways we could solve it but they would never sign it
This mountains tumbling down, but still we try to climb it
It’s in the Torah, Quran and in the Bible
Love is the message for some how we turn to rivals
It’s come to people always picking up their rifles
Another school getting shot up homicidal

Some people tryna look fly, some people tryna get high
Some people losing their mind, some people tryna get by
And when you look in my eyes, you see the sign of the times
We all looking for the same thing

But what if this song’s number one
Would it mean that love had won?
Would it mean that the world was saved?
And no guns are being drawn today?
What if everybody had a job?
And nobody had to break a law?
What if everyone could say
That it’s good to be alive today (oh, oh, oh, oh)
Is it good to be alive today (oh, oh, oh, oh)
Is it good to be alive today (oh, oh, oh, oh)
Is it good to be alive today (oh, oh, oh, oh)
No matter what nobody say

People used to feel safer when they would hear a siren
Like help is on its way but now they only think of violence
Another youth in the streets and police is in a conflict
And now they hear the guns click, yo
Ebola crisis and ISIS is taking heads off
A drone is bombing a village and now the kids all
Signing up to be soldiers, but they all willing now
To do the killing now, now are you willing now?
Some politicians out there making up some problems
And tryna tell the people that they can solve them
With TV shows and soundbites and quotes
But everybody knows that it’s all about the cash flow
They telling you and me, they’re making progress
But tell it to the millions of jobless
It’s like a players club with billions of dollars
To get the votes you got to make it rain in congress

And we all say

One day, one day
One day, one day
One day, we all will say
That it’s good to be alive today
One day, one day
One day, one day
One day, we all will say
That it’s good to be alive today
